How do you paint your hell blades?

Hi everyone! I was just wondering how everyone paints their hellblades.

I was thinking about painting mine up to look like the armor on the brass scorpion on Forge World. I just need to figure out how they did it. I think it was with an air brush and a gloss finish.

Anyone have any ideas?

bad mr. frosty did a very good job of replicating the f/w paintjobon his brass scorpion , good chance he could give some pointers .

That would be most impressive. My hell blades are just black and red. Nothing too fancy.
